JOB TITLE : Office Cleaner
LOCATION : Port Elizabeth
DURATION : 36 Months- Fixed Term Contract
Purpose of the Position
To ensure that the office premises are clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times, contributing to a safe and pleasant working environment for all employees and visitors
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 10 or equivalent (Grade 12 preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and reliable.
Core Responsibilities
• Daily cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, reception, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Emptying bins and ensuring proper waste disposal.
• Replenishing supplies in bathrooms and kitchens (soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.).
• Cleaning windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Office Administrator.
• Assisting with preparing meeting rooms, refreshments, and cleaning up afterward when required.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and company hygiene standards.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used correctly and safely.
