JOB TITLE : Contract Manager (VAPS – Tyre Department)

Purpose of the Position
The Contract Manager is critical to the successful delivery of tyre management services across all fleet contracts. This role provides end-to-end oversight of tyre-related operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency and consistent execution. With increasing operational complexity, high transaction volumes and strict turnaround requirements, the Contract Manager ensures that all contractual obligations are met while supporting the Contract Administrators, warehouse teams and service providers to align with performance KPIs. This position safeguards service continuity, audit readiness and client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12/Matric
• Diploma or degree in Fleet Management, Business Management, Logistics, or related field
• Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in contract management, preferably in fleet or automotive operations
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Knowledge of fleet operations, maintenance processes, and supplier coordination
Core Responsibilities
Contract Oversight & Governance:
• Ensure compliance with all contract terms, SLAs, and company policies
• Monitor performance of tyre-related services, including supplier delivery, stock management, and turnaround times
• Lead regular performance reviews and contract status meetings
Operational Management & Coordination:
• Provide leadership and oversight to Contract Administrators, warehouse teams, and service providers
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of tyre orders, maintenance approvals, and service requests
• Manage escalations and resolve operational challenges efficiently
Supplier & Stakeholder Management:
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with contractual obligations
• Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and take corrective action when needed
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on contract performance, order volumes, and service trends
• Track operational efficiency, compliance, and cost control measures
• Ensure accurate records are maintained for audits and management reviews
Continuous Improvement:
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Promote best practices across contract administration, warehouse operations, and supplier engagement
• Support strategic planning for current and future contracts
