Pricing Intern- VAPS

Purpose of the Position
The Pricing Intern will support the VAPS Department with pricing analysis and preparation of tender submissions, specifically related to tyres, vehicle tracking, fleet services, fuel management and related fleet solutions. The role requires strong analytical ability and attention to detail to assist in building pricing schedules and ensuring competitive and compliant tender submissions.

Minimum Requirements
Preferably studying or recently completed: (the most important skill is Excel, not the degree. Someone who can handle complex pricing sheets and formulas will help you much more.)

•Diploma in Business Management
•Diploma in Financial Management

Core Responsibilities

Tender Pricing Support
•Populate tender pricing schedules and costing sheets
•Assist with tyre pricing calculations based on supplier price lists
•Assist with pricing for vehicle tracking solutions
•Assist with fuel management pricing models
•Assist with fleet service costing

Pricing Analysis
•Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking
•Compare supplier pricing and discounts
•Assist with margin calculations
•Identify pricing discrepancies

Data Management
•Maintain and update pricing databases
•Assist with updating master pricing sheets
•Support with inventory and product price lists
Tender Administration Support
•Assist with preparing pricing documentation for RFQs and tenders
•Support compilation of commercial submissions
•Verify pricing accuracy before submission

Skills & Knowledge
•Strong Excel skills (very important)
•Ability to work with large pricing sheets
•Good numerical and analytical ability
•High attention to detail
•Ability to work under tight tender deadlines
