Contract Manager

JOB TITLE: Contract Manager
LOCATION: Bloemfontein
DURATION: Permanent
Purpose of the Position

We are seeking an experienced contracts manager to join our fleet management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering contracts with suppliers, customers and partners. This role will ensure compliance with contractual obligations, negotiate contracts and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Minimum Requirements
• Minimum grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law or related field would be an advantage
• 5 years’ experience in Project Management / Fleet Management / Key Accounts Management/Sales
• 2 years’ management experience
• Experience with client management and internal departmental communications
• Proven track record of successful project management

Core Responsibilities
• Contract management: Manager and administer contracts with suppliers, customers and partners ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, customers and partner to achieve best in class terms and conditions.
• Contract review and renewal: Review and renew contracts as required, ensuring that all contracts are up to date and complaint with company policies and procedures.
• Supplier Management: Manager supplier relationship, ensuring that suppliers meet contractual obligations and deliver high quality services.
• Cost Savings and process: Identify opportunities for cost saving and process improvements, and implement change as required.
• Compliance and risk management: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure that contractual obligations are met

• Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports and analytics on contract performance, supplier performance and cost savings

Skills and Knowledge
• Strong knowledge of contract law and negotiation techniques
•Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide insights
• Strong financial acumen and administration management
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Ms office, particularly in Excel, word and PowerPoint
